What is Quality of Experience?

Quality of Experience (QoE) is a customer-focused performance measurement for a given product or service. QoE is all about the experience the end users are receiving from a service and their satisfaction with it.

Due to the variety of factors that can have an effect on a human’s interaction with a service, what is considered a positive experience for users is very likely to differ between services. Consequently the first step of measuring the Quality of Experience of a service is to define what a customer’s desired experience is in relation to the service.
